We built Waslati because some of the best sellers in Saudi Arabia weren't missing customers, they were missing a store. People with loyal followings on Instagram and Snapchat, moving real products, running the whole thing through a chat window and a bank transfer, because nothing simpler existed. So we built the missing piece ourselves: a Saudi-registered business, one link, a real checkout behind it, and a payment system licensed to protect both sides of every sale. It's built for the seller who already did the hard part, building an audience, and just needed somewhere real to sell to them.
Vision 2030 has a published goal of raising small and medium enterprises' contribution to GDP from roughly 20% to 35% by 2030, and a meaningful share of that growth depends on ordinary people being able to sell online without complicated barriers. Waslati moves with that goal directly: we remove the commercial-registration and technical-setup barrier for any Saudi who wants to sell, so the everyday person can take part in that digital growth from day one, not just watch it happen.
