Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Waslati ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Waslati is a technology platform that allows users to create a personal page, share links, and accept payments. We provide tools for Saudi creators and small businesses to manage their online presence. Waslati is a technology platform only — we do not manufacture, sell, or inspect any goods or services offered through our platform, and we are not responsible for the legality, quality, safety, or accuracy of any goods or services listed by sellers.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it updated. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Payment Processing and Disputes

Payments processed through Waslati are subject to a 5% transaction fee. Payouts are processed to the bank account you register on our platform. We use Moyasar as our payment processor; by accepting payments you also agree to Moyasar's terms of service. Waslati facilitates payment transactions between buyers and sellers but is not a party to the underlying transaction between them. We are not liable for disputes between buyers and sellers regarding product quality, delivery, or refunds beyond what is stated in our Refund Policy.

5. Seller Payout Hold Policy

Waslati reserves the right to delay, hold, or withhold seller payouts in cases of suspected fraud, active chargebacks, account suspension, or ongoing dispute investigation. Held funds will be released within 5 business days after the dispute is fully resolved. Waslati will notify the affected seller by email of any payout hold and the reason for it.

6. Chargeback Policy

If a buyer files a chargeback with their bank or card issuer, the disputed amount may be deducted from the seller's pending payouts while the dispute is under investigation. Sellers are responsible for fulfilling orders accurately and maintaining clear product descriptions to minimize chargeback risk. Sellers with repeated chargebacks may have their accounts suspended. Waslati will provide transaction records and relevant evidence to banks during chargeback investigations.

7. Seller Legal Compliance

Sellers are solely responsible for ensuring full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This includes, but is not limited to, obtaining a valid commercial registration (السجل التجاري), a freelancer certificate (شهادة العمل الحر) where applicable, and any sector-specific permits or licenses required to legally offer their goods or services. Waslati does not verify sellers' legal compliance and bears no liability for any seller's failure to obtain or maintain the required registrations, certificates, or licenses.

8. Prohibited Content

You may not use Waslati to sell illegal products or services, engage in fraud or deception, violate intellectual property rights, or share content that is harmful, abusive, or violates applicable law.

9. Abuse Reporting

Buyers and sellers can report fraud, abuse, or policy violations to support@waslati.com. Waslati will investigate all reports within 5 business days and may suspend accounts pending investigation. Reported accounts will be notified of the investigation unless doing so would compromise it. We cooperate with relevant authorities where legally required.

10. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account found to be in violation of these terms or applicable Saudi law, including but not limited to operating without required licenses or registrations, or engaging in prohibited commercial activities. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings.

11. Limitation of Liability

Waslati is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you shall not exceed the fees you have paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to your registered account address and/or via in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
